Crime Does Pay: Hillary Clinton To Announce Presidential Candidacy On Sunday

If any event demonstrates the Banana Republic status of the United States political system, it’s Hillary Clinton’s Presidential Candidacy. Notwithstanding the fact that Hillary should be under investigation by an independently appointed Special Prosecutor for possible criminal abuse of her position as Obama’s Secretary of State, there’s a long laundry list of probable crimes for which Hillary should have been at least investigated (Whitewater/Madison Guaranty, mysterious commodities trading ‘profits,’ Vince Foster’s ‘apparent’ suicide, Travelgate, etc).
But instead Hillary is set to announce her candidacy for the 2016 Presidential election.
While political scandals, high crimes and skulduggery have been occurring since the dawn of organized civilization, ever since Nixon walked away from the Watergate crimes legally unscathed, the American public has accepted Governmental criminality as eagerly as Oliver Twist begged for more porridge: ‘Please sir, I want some more.’
Charles Dickens has always been one of my favorite writers, as I relish anything that lampoons obvious authoritative crimes and moral injustices, as well as caricaturizes general societal absurdities like ‘political/social’ correctness.
