Alternative Self-Defense Weapons
Dear Black Bag Confidential Reader,
Of course, you know I’m a gun guy. I always carry my firearm wherever I’m legally allowed to do so. However, I realize that not everyone is going to carry a gun like me, which is why I think it’s important to consider other options for self-defense.
I regularly hold escape and evasion trainings in Las Vegas, Nevada. Earlier this year, I was working with a group of folks on personal safety techniques when we got into a discussion on alternative self-defense weapons.
Armed and Dangerous
There was a woman in the group who didn’t want to carry a firearm. She also said she gets off work late at night and sometimes has to walk a fairly long distance to her vehicle, so I suggested carrying a tactical pen or a stun-gun flashlight.
Later she told me she was so nervous she decided to carry BOTH a tactical pen clipped to her purse AND a stun-gun flashlight with her when walking to her car each night. And it’s a good thing she did…

Madagascar Outbreak: It Is ‘Inevitable’ The Plague Becomes Resistant To Drugs
The newest warning about the outbreak of the airborne pneumonic plague, or black death, in Madagascar has been released. Officials warn that it’s inevitable that this bacterial infection that’s infected over 2000 people will become resistant to antibiotics.
The only way to treat a person who has contracted the plague is with antibiotics. But experts now warn that because they are being used so much to treat the infection, antibiotics resistance is inevitable and making this disease much more terrifying. Once the bacteria is resistant, the Madagascar healthcare system will be overwhelmed, and the disease will have control of the nation.
According to the Daily Mail, Madagascar’s healthcare system will be unable to cope if the deadly plague outbreak continues to escalate, a scientist has warned. Scores of doctors and nurses have been struck down with the disease, which is predicted to gather momentum in the coming weeks and there are growing fears hospitals will be unable to meet the illness’ burden. Official figures reveal at least 2,034 people have been infected with the ‘medieval disease’ so far in what has been described as the ‘worst outbreak in 50 years.’ The black death outbreak has so far claimed at least 165 lives.

A SHERIFF JUST THREATENED CHARGES OVER ‘F*CK TRUMP’ STICKER – AND THE INTERNET IS DESTROYING HIM
A Texas sheriff is under fire for making a Facebook post about his intention to take punitive measures against a truck driver displaying a bumper sticker declaring ‘FUCK TRUMP AND FUCK YOU FOR VOTING FOR HIM.’
On Wednesday morning, Sheriff Troy E. Nehls of Fort Bend County, Texas, posted a picture of the back of a truck asking members of the community to help him find the ‘offender.’
‘I have received numerous calls regarding the offensive display on this truck as it is often seen along FM 359. If you know who owns this truck or it is yours, I would like to discuss it with you,’ he said.
Nehls apparently already sought to impose punishment, adding, ‘Our Prosecutor has informed us she would accept Disorderly Conduct charges regarding it, but I feel we could come to an agreement regarding a modification to it.’

A Porn Star And Rapper Coolio: Presidential Hopefuls For 2020
A porn star and the rapper Coolio are two of the so-far presidential hopefuls to run against Donald Trump in 2020. And both say their campaign has what it takes to beat the sitting president.
When Donald Trump won the election last year, porn star Cherie DeVille (who’s running alongside rapper Coolio) says she sobbed. ‘I didn’t cry because I hated [Trump] specifically, I cried because of what I felt that meant for the direction our country was going in.’ Like many liberals who saw their world crumble because of Trump’s election, DeVille found herself melting down. But then she decided to do something about it.
DeVille, who’s starred in such videos as ‘A$$ Planet’ and ‘Hot Tub Hottie,’ says she was inspired to run for office out of her ‘personal frustration for the current political climate.’ The porn star then, ironically, went into full blown hypocrite mode. ‘We’re voting for people as if we’re on a reality television show, and my concern is if we continue to purely vote for celebrities, or political figures, or the most entertaining, they’re not always going to be quality politicians,’ DeVille told ITK on Tuesday. So vote for the porn star! That’ll fix it!

Merkel Facing “Night Of The Long Knives” On Coalition Talks
In October, Merkel won what was dubbed as the ‘nightmare victory’ in the German elections. The weaker expected showing from the CDU/CSU forced her into complicated coalition negotiations with the FPD and the Greens. This process is coming to a head due to tomorrow’s self-imposed deadline to find enough common ground to press forward with the alliance. This alliance is the so-called ‘Jamaica’ coalition since the colours of the parties mirror Jamaica’s flag. As Reuters reports.
Talks on forming a new German coalition government ‘can work’, Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Thursday ahead of a long night of negotiations at which she must forge a three-way alliance or risk seeing her 12-year stint in power come to an end.
Merkel, 63, is trying to form an unlikely alliance between her conservatives, the pro-business Free Democrats (FDP) and the ecologist Greens – a combination untested at national level – to allow her to govern for a fourth term as chancellor. She wants exploratory talks on forming the coalition to end on Thursday so the would-be allies can move on to formal negotiations.
