On Kathy Griffin — And We As a Body Politic

Let me point out a few things for those of you who haven’t bothered to read the Constitution of late.
Kathy Griffin has every right to speak freely. She can do so in as pleasant or disgusting a manner as she chooses. The line is only crossed when a colorable and actionable threat is made. I highly doubt her little photo shoot met that definition, although it certainly bears investigation to make sure it did not. I would likely change my mind on that, by the way, if she owned a machete and had a plane ticket to DC….. but I digress.
However, neither Griffin or anyone else has the right to demand that others not form their own opinion of their willingness to associate with her or those who she works for and with as a consequence of her own actions — including but not limited to her free speech.
Kathy seems to think she’s a “victim” of “big bad bullies” who decided that she’s a 5-alarm ******* as a consequence of what she did. Well, the choice to do what she did rested with her and others have every right to draw whatever conclusion they wish as to their willingness to associate with her or anyone she is affiliated with.

Tesla Furious After AAA Hits Carmaker With Higher Premiums Due To “Abnormally High Claims”

AAA is raising premiums on Tesla vehicles by 30% after data showed that owners of Model S and Model X cars filed claims at abnormally high rates, and that those claims cost more compared with other cars in the same class, Automotive News reported.
Tesla, of course, is disputing the insurer’s analysis.
“This analysis is severely flawed and is not reflective of reality,” the electric-vehicle maker said in a statement emailed to Automotive News. “Among other things, it compares Model S and X to cars that are not remotely peers, including even a Volvo station wagon.”

Liberals Outraged, Demand Termination After Bill Maher Says “I’m A House Ni**er”

French President Macron invited American citizens – especially those with a higher education – who are disappointed with Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris accord, to help ‘make our planet great again’ by moving to that bastion of liberal global values, France , where they will find “a second homeland.”
In a short address to Americans following Trump’s announcement to withdraw from the Paris climate accord, the French leader said that while he respects President Donald Trump’s decision, he believes it was a “mistake” and invited all Americans (ideally those with a college education) to come join him in France “to work together on concrete solutions, for our climate, our environment.”
And, to show just how progressive he truly is, the French president called on all US “scientists, engineers responsible citizens who were disappointed by the decision by the President of the United States, I want to say that they will find in France a second homeland. I call on them: Come and work here with us. To work together on concrete solutions, for our climate, our environment.”
If the world doesn’t tackle climate change, Macron says, our children will face a dystopian future punctuated by famine, wars and grinding poverty or in other words, he described reality in much of the developing world, especially those nations which the US and French military forces have decided represent geopolitical “national interests.”
‘It is not the future we want for our children…it is not the future we want for our world,’ Macron said.

‘Literal Colonialism’: Blackwater Founder Calls For “American Viceroy” To Rule Afghanistan

Via TheAntiMedia.org,
Displaying what one commentator called ‘sheer 19th century bloodlust and thirst for empire,’ Erik Prince, founder of the private mercenary firm Blackwater, argued in The Wall Street Journal this week that the United States should deploy an ‘East India Company approach’ in Afghanistan.
The country, he wrote, should be run by ‘an American viceroy who would lead all U. S. government and coalition efforts – including command, budget, policy, promotion, and contracting – and report directly to the president.’
Prince continued:
In Afghanistan, the viceroy approach would reduce rampant fraud by focusing spending on initiatives that further the central strategy, rather than handing cash to every outstretched hand from a U. S. system bereft of institutional memory. Prince insists that these are ‘cheaper private solutions,’ but such privatization would also be a boon for military contractors.

LONDON’S TRIPLE ATTACK: Who Knew, Who Benefits The Most?

London once again becomes a target of a purported terror event. This time, were told three attacks have occurred simultaneously, happening less than two weeks after Manchester’s known wolf arena bombing. Only time will tell if this latest attack on London Bridge, the Borough Market area and Vauxhall, will also turn out to be the work of known wolf terrorists watched by British security.
RT News reports:
‘London police confirm they are dealing with three ‘incidents’ in the city center on Saturday evening: a vehicle collision with pedestrians on London Bridge, reported stabbings in the Borough Market area and a third incident in Vauxhall.’
Though many are still shocked in the wake of the London attacks – key questions will undoubtedly emerge following this latest act of terror in the West.

Trump Didn’t Kill The Paris Agreement – It Was Already Dead

Authored by Arthur Wardle via InsideSources.com,
President Trump recently removed the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement, heralded by many as a major win for global climate action. The Paris Climate Agreement, signed during the Obama administration, attempted to include the entire world and managed to amass 195 signatories.
Given that international climate negotiations are notoriously difficult, that can only be evidence of two things: either the Paris agreement was a truly monumental agreement in which the entire world came together to respond effectively to a global problem or it was so toothless that nobody bothered to object. All things considered, it was probably the latter.
The agreement itself contains very few direct requirements, instead relying on nations to interpret independently and work toward various ill-defined goals. This problem led James Henson, the ‘father of global awareness of climate change’ and an ex-NASA scientist, to condemn the agreement as a fraud. It lacks any enforcement mechanism, instead relying on nations voluntarily to reduce emissions.
Assuming that countries will voluntarily subject themselves to emissions reductions brings into question the need for an international agreement in the first place. Why else would Exxon, Shell, Peabody and other fossil fuel companies traditionally hated by the environmental movement defend the accord? The excitement of many Paris agreement supporters following these statements exposes their naivete.

NSA Whistleblower Accuses Agency Of “Mass Electronic Surveillance”

While former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney was burnishing his credentials as a master of the corporate turnaround during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, US intelligence agencies were testing out their capabilities for mass electronic surveillance according to a recent Associated Press report. Ex-NSA spy Thomas Drake has alleged as much in a statement filed in support of a lawsuit brought by former Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson. Anderson has said that the lawsuit is designed to get more information about what he calls covert, illegal operations.
Drake wrote in the declaration, released Friday, that the NSA collected and stored virtually all electronic communications going into or out of Salt Lake, including contents of texts and emails, something which another famous NSA whistleblower and former senior NSA crypto-mathematician, William Binney, alleged back in 201, long before Edward Snowden emerged on the scene, when he explained how the NSA’s Utah Data Center soaks up and retains every form of electronic communication, also known as the NSa’s Project Stellar Wind.
