UK Prime Minister Responds To Blocking Of RT’s Bank Accounts

As reported earlier, in a somewhat stunning announcement that puts into question the freedom of speech and press in the UK democracy, RT’s editor in chief alleged, and NatWest later confirmed, that the Russian media outlet’s bank accounts in the UK had been blocked by the bank owned by the previously nationalized RBS.
In a letter to RT’s London Office, NatWest said, ‘we have recently undertaken a review of your banking arrangements with us and reached the conclusion that we will no longer provide these facilities.” The bank added that the entire Royal Bank of Scotland Group, of which NatWest is part of, would refuse to service RT.
‘We have no idea why it happened, because neither yesterday nor the day before yesterday, nor a month ago, nothing special happened to us, nobody threatened us in any way. Hypothetically, this may have something to do with new British and American sanctions against Russia, which may be announced soon. It may not. Our legal department is dealing with the issue now,’ Margarita Simonyan told RBK business news website.

Lawmakers Find “Quid Pro Quo” Between FBI And State Over Altered ‘Classified’ Clinton Emails

About a week ago we wrote about newly released FBI interviews with numerous references to State Department officials, including Patrick Kennedy, applying pressure to subordinates to change classified email codes so they would be shielded from Congress and the public (see “Two Boxes Of Hillary Emails Mysteriously Disappear“). Here is the relevant section from the FBI’s interview notes:

AS FLINT WATER CRISIS UNFOLDED, PHARMA COMPANY RAISED PRICE OF LEAD POISONING DRUG 2,700 PERCENT

The saga of Flint, Michigan, where residents suddenly found themselves drinking lead-poisoned tap water, demonstrated how people become victims of corrupt government. If that weren’t enough, those who suffer the worst from lead poisoning find themselves the victim of shameless corporate greed.
As the Flint water crisis unfolded and we began finding out that lead-tainted water is a problem in cities across the country, one notorious pharmaceutical company saw a chance to cash in.
Valeant Pharmaceuticals raised the price of a drug used to treat lead poisoning by 2,700 percent after acquiring the drug in 2013. By 2015 – as the issue of lead poisoning became prominent news – the price for a package of vials rose from $950 to $26,927.
This intravenous treatment, called Calcium EDTA, has been available for decades at a stable price, and is the most effective for severe and life-threatening cases of lead poisoning. The dramatic price increase has drawn the ire of poison control specialists and hospitals since it began, but their concerns don’t make the MSM news headlines.

Win Or Lose, Raging Civil War Within Republican Party Casts Doubts On GOP’s Future

Paul Ryan, a man who doesn't know how to win (including failed run four years ago), must start focusing on the budget, military, vets etc.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 16, 2016

Will the republican party survive the 2016 election cycle? Certainly, at this point, it is looking increasingly unlikely with various factions within the party starting to attack one another. As one GOP strategist told The Hill, the republican party is ‘right now, in a raft navigating the political rapids – without any oars.’ As Rick Tyler points out, the republican party is “splitting right before your eyes” with the GOP unlikely to exist in its current form after the 2016 election.
‘It’s splitting right before your eyes. It’s happening now,’ said Rick Tyler, who served as communications director for Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-Texas) presidential campaign.
‘There is a civil war in the party that is going on right now. The question is whether, after the election, the party will be able to repair itself; or cease to exist; or continue to exist in some diminished way.’

ECB’s First Chief Economist Warns – The EU is a ‘House of Cards’

None of the following about the EU will come as a surprise to most of you, but the language used by Otmar Issing is nevertheless pretty remarkable.
The Telegraph reports:
The European Central Bank is becoming dangerously over-extended and the whole euro project is unworkable in its current form, the founding architect of the monetary union has warned.
‘One day, the house of cards will collapse,’ said Professor Otmar Issing, the ECB’s first chief economist and a towering figure in the construction of the single currency.
Prof Issing said the euro has been betrayed by politics, lamenting that the experiment went wrong from the beginning and has since degenerated into a fiscal free-for-all that once again masks the festering pathologies.
‘Realistically, it will be a case of muddling through, struggling from one crisis to the next. It is difficult to forecast how long this will continue for, but it cannot go on endlessly,’ he told the journal Central Banking in a remarkable deconstruction of the project.

Republican Congressman: “Thank God For Wikileaks – Doing The Job That MSM Won’t”

Let me be clear: Thank God for Wikileaks – doing the job that MSM WON'T! #ASSANGE #wikileaks
— Rep. Jeff Duncan (@RepJeffDuncan) October 17, 2016

Hours after Wikileaks announced that inexplicably Julian Assange’s internet connection had been cut, South Carolina Congressman Jeff Duncan, a republican, on Monday cheered the release of hacked emails by WikiLeaks. ‘Let me be clear: Thank God for Wikileaks – doing the job that MSM WON’T! #ASSANGE #wikileaks,’ Duncan tweeted, referring to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
That post came in the middle of a series of tweets from Duncan, who earlier remarked that it was ‘crazy that public opinion is being driven this election cycle by an accused rapist hiding out in the Embassy of foreign country #wikileaks.’ Julian Assange, WikiLeaks’ founder, has been inside the Ecuadorian Embassy in London since 2012.

73% Of Republicans Say Election Could Be “Stolen” As Trump Slams “Rigged Elections”

The Trump campaign stepped up their “election rigging” rhetoric over the weekend with a tweet storm from Trump that blasted the “dishonest and distorted media” working in coordination with the Clinton campaign and alleged voter fraud at polling places.
Hillary Clinton should have been prosecuted and should be in jail. Instead she is running for president in what looks like a rigged election

The Regime’s Reckoning

Irrespectively of how he, in fact, will govern if he becomes president, it’s no longer possible to deny that Donald Trump is indeed the anti-Establishment candidate.
To get as far as he has, Trump has had to battle the Regime every step of the way. Now that the election is less than a month off, it has dispatched its agents from all quarters to not just defeat Trump, but to crucify him.
The Clintons and their legions of surrogates from the Obamas to the Bushes, from the Republican leadership in the Congress to all of the major media are tirelessly doing anything and everything to destroy the one person who (they at least believe) poses the biggest threat to their Empire.
Yet, as of this writing, Trump is still standing and the outcome of this contest remains an open question. He will continue standing, I predict, right through Election Day – whether he wins the race or loses it, for Trump has already won.

Martial Law or Electorial College?

Clearly, the stage is set to blame Russia for a Trump victory. Our model still shows the largest turnout may take place here in 2016. This scares the blood, no matter how cold, right out of the veins of the career politicians. There are two scenarios running around behind the curtain. I reported the one that Obama would declare martial law, suspend the constitution and remain in the presidency declining to allow Hillary or Trump to take the throne. Others are proposing that you still blame Russia, but then throw it to the Congress by means of the electoral college and that way keep it under the pretense of being constitutional. Any way you shape it, it does not look like they will allow Trump to take the White House regardless of the vote.

U.S. and U.K. consider new sanctions on Russia over Syria – a move which will only heighten tensions with the West

October 2016 – WASHINGTON/MOSCOW – U. S. and U. K. leaders on Sunday threatened Russia with sanctions and other measures to pressure it to change course on Syria, saying the onus is on Russia to help bring an end to violence in the more than five-year-long conflict there. Secretary of State John Kerry and British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson didn’t rule out military action in Syria’s civil war but came close, emphasizing there is little appetite in Europe or the West for it. For now they suggested that diplomatic talks would continue for the foreseeable future to end fighting that has killed more than 400,000.
‘I think the most powerful weapon we have at the moment is our ability to make President Putin and the Russians feel the consequences of what they are doing,’ Mr. Johnson said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin after a meeting of ‘like-minded’ European and Gulf Arab countries on the Syria conflict. ‘They’re starting to feel the pressure and it is vital that we keep that pressure up, and there are a lot of measures that we’re proposing to do with extra sanctions on the Syrian regime and their supporters, measures to bring those responsible for war crimes before the international criminal court,’ Mr. Johnson said.

RIP Conservative America

Curiouser and Curiouser BALTIMORE – ‘How President Clinton Will Handle a Hostile Congress,’ reads a headline in the Financial Times. The ‘pink paper’ isn’t waiting for the votes to be counted. Many Republicans, too, have given up trying to get Donald Trump into the White House.
***
They’re abandoning him like a hunk of old cheese, hoping the smell doesn’t stick to their clothes; they want to get reelected. And so, the curious presidential election of 2016 just gets curiouser. What a spectacle!
Instead of attacking his opponent and her policies – which should be easy targets – Mr. Trump takes aim at his fellow Republicans. Senator John McCain is ‘very foul mouthed,’ Trump snarled on Twitter.
House Majority Leader Paul Ryan is a ‘very weak and ineffective leader.’ And ‘disloyal’ Republicans are ‘far more difficult than Crooked Hillary.’

They Will Not Allow Trump to Win Regardless of the Vote

The preparation to declare the election a fraud is in high gear. The newspapers are full of the planted stories that Russia will hack the election to ensure Trump wins – not Hillary. The Democrats are now putting out the argument that Wikileaks’ source on all these emails is also Russia saying they use to be about the truth and are now a pawn of Trump and Putin. The Democrats are even trying to claim that the emails are fake. Moving the disinformation plot to cartoons demonstrates this is a full fledged campaign for the coronation of Hillary regardless of what the people vote. Russia will be blamed regardless of what Putin does. It is impossible to absolutely identify the hacker who is truly professional. You can trace it to an IP address, but that will be typically several layers deep rerouting it around the world. Someone in the USA can create a fake hack from Russia with the first IP being placed there. So there would be no possible way to prove it was the Russian government. This is all hype.

RT’s Bank Accounts Blocked In The UK; Russia Foreign Ministry Slams RBS’ Decision

While we have yet to get an update from Wikileaks on the status of Julian Assange’s internet connection at the Ecuadorian embassy in the UK, which as reported overnight was allegedly “severed” by an unknown “state party”, moments ago Russia’s RT (originally Russia Today), a television network and website funded by the Russian government, has allegedly seen its bank accounts blocked by the UK, according to a tweet posted moments ago by the station’s editor-in-chief, Margarita Simonyan.
“Our accounts in the UK have been closed. All Accounts. ‘The decision is not subject to revision’. Long live freedom of speech!” Simonyan said in a Twitter post, suggesting that the move stifles free speech.

Russia Advising its citizens How to Prepare for Nuclear War Warning US Intends to Attack

Just as Obama keeps ratcheting up the allegations that Russia will hack the elections to ensure Trump wins, in Russia they are warning their citizens that war is coming and it maybe nuclear. They are warning that NATO is retrofitting tactical aircraft for the use of nuclear weapons, ‘which is sign of preparation for war with Russia’. A whole website has gone up in Russia dedicated to the World War III and one offering advice and how to prepare.
ABC News is reporting that Russian Television Warns of Nuclear War Amid US Tensions. US mainstream press is not questioning what is going on when we have a President who got the Noble Peace Prize. They are not looking at Obama floating all sorts of stories that a Trump victory will be proof of a Russian cyber attack. The Washington Post pitches the story that Russia wants war. Meanwhile The Daily Mail reports that the Kremlin calls Joe Biden’s threat to ‘cyber strike’ Russia ‘unprecedented’ and pledges to protect itself from the ‘aggressive, unpredictable United States’. CNN has reported that Russia and the US have moved past a Cold War to unpredictable confrontation.

Hillary’s ‘War Drums’ Confirm Putin’s Fears Of A World “Rushing Irreversibly” Towards Nuclear Showdown

As election day looms in America, it appears the writing that Vladimir Putin drew on the wall just a few short months ago is coming to fruition. Having lost his patience with the constant spewing of anti-Russia propaganda – missing the bigger picture of vicious circle towards muclear confrontation – Putin implored the western media, for the sake of the world, to listen:
We know year by year what’s going to happen, and they know that we know. It’s only you that they tell tall tales to, and you buy it, and spread it to the citizens of your countries. You people in turn do not feel a sense of the impending danger – this is what worries me. How do you not understand that the world is being pulled in an irreversible direction? While they pretend that nothing is going on. I don’t know how to get through to you anymore.
In calm tones, not reflective of the angry allegations lobbed at Americans every day of a Russia hell-bent on the election of Trump (for whatever reason they dreamed up of this week), Putin reminded a ‘deaf’ press corps of what lies ahead and implicitly what happens if and when Americans vote for Hillary.
