As Turkey Refuses To Join “Anti-ISIS” Coalition, John Kerry Comes Begging

It appears the ‘broad coalition’ that President Obama so confidently described just two days ago is crumbling faster than the Iraqi army. First UK and Germany deny support for airstrikes in Syria and now Turkey refuses to allow a U. S.-led coalition to attack jihadists in neighboring Iraq and Syria from its air bases, nor will it take part in combat operations against militants, a government official. US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Ankara this morning to ‘build the coalition’ but, as AFP reports, Turkish officials have already made their position clear, “Turkey will not be involved in any armed operation but will entirely concentrate on humanitarian operations.” Their ‘excuse’: “our hands and arms are tied because of the hostages,” but follows PM Erdogan’s recent shunning of Obama.
As AFP reports,
US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Ankara Friday for talks aimed at building a coalition against Islamic State jihadists, a visit that comes after Turkey said it would not allow its air bases to be used for strikes on the extremists. The top US diplomat, touring the Middle East to establish a coalition of more than 40 countries, is to meet with Turkey’s leaders including President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for talks on measures to defeat the militants in Iraq and Syria.

Putin – War – & Return of Mercenaries – the Masquerade

Many people have written asking about Putin. The pundits are claiming the Russian Army is weak and could not wage war. Russia is actually looking at expanding its military policy re-targeting Europe and the USA as enemies, and rewriting protocols for justification of a defensive first strike with nuclear weapons. The greatest mistake that the West has made so far is to judge Russia through their own eyes based upon themselves with extreme arrogance and prejudice. Just because you would not want war does not mean your opponent has the same view. Additionally, the arrogance of the politicians can force war by their unyielding posture and inability to realize that they have left their opponent with no other option.
The arrogance that Russia is weak and could not afford war is a huge mistake because it is the West who cannot afford war in the middle of an economic implosion where we have a Sovereign Debt Crisis brewing on an unprecedented scale. War also gas been an escape valve for fiscal mismanagement and in this respect, war become desirable as a decoy to hide the inability of politicians to cope with managing the state.
The Russian military forces are composed of 150,000 officers and 766,000 soldiers on active duty. There are about 2,485,000 reservists. The Russian Ground Forces have 15,500 tanks, 27,607 armored fighting vehicles (AFV), 5,990 self-propelled guns (SPG), 4,625 towed artillery guns and 3,781 multiple rocket launcher artillery systems (MLRS), according to reports of the Military portal Global Fire Power. For the Air Force, Russia has about 3,082 airplanes, jets and helicopters. Russia has only about 114 combat helicopters compared to the USA’s 914 attack helicopters …

Obama’s False Flag Speech Tonight

Tonight, on the eve of another anniversary for 9-11, the current President of the United States will be giving a speech about the threat of ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria or IS for short) where a new American strategy for dealing with this terrorist army will be outlined after he stated several days ago that he didn’t have one. Several months ago in fact, the President called ISIS the ‘JV team’ in one of his numerous infamous quotes and since that time they have carved out what amounts to a small nation in Eastern Syria and Western Iraq.
The issue of ISIS however, is not the key point to the speech tonight. If ISIS were truly a serious threat to US interests, aka, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, then our ‘allies’ in the region would request that the United States position more troops into Kuwait and Jordan to protect those kingdoms and to cut off any advance towards the House of Saud. Meanwhile, many questions about this speech and American policy towards ISIS will not be answered by this administration nor our ‘allies’ in the region:
1. If the United States is aware that ISIS is now in possession of approximately 30 M1 Abrams tanks, why have we not destroyed them with an air strike by now? Theoretically one would hope that the U. S. would install a ‘kill switch’ such as those used by American rental car companies just in case a vehicle is stolen, or at least some type of GPS tracking at a minimum once the weapons were left for the Iraqi military.
2. Why are Western governments in Europe and including the United States announcing any types of sanctions for those countries aiding and abetting the ISIS cause? There is ample evidence within the mainstream media that Qatar is acting as the finance and banking arm for the Islamic State yet not one word has been uttered about cutting off trade or even a small threat of sanctions from any nation except for Saudi Arabia (see: Saudi threatens to block Qatar’s land, sea borders from this posting about Saudi-Qatari relations: Is Saudi Arabia Preparing to Invade Qatar?).
3. There is demonstrable evidence that Turkey, a NATO member nation, has also been arming and training ISIS forces yet the silence from Brussels, London, and Washington has been deafening. Will President Obama announce an initiative to cut off the supply of arms and soldiers migrating from Turkish territory into Iraq and Syria tonight? I seriously doubt it.

US Chopper Squadron Invades Poland, Accidentally

No, this is not from The Onion. Bloomberg reports that six U. S. army helicopters landed in a rapeseed field in northern Poland to ask for directions after veering off course on their way back from military exercises. Locals were alarmed and explained, “we know that security is the most important thing right now… But thank God it was the Americans.” We wonder how long before Sikorski proclaims this an invasion and demands NATO react…

The Army’s Plan for Martial Law Carried Out Under UN Authority

Since February of 2014, I have written about a series of planned actions, on the part of the US Army which would give them martial law power over the people of the United States. In the same time frame, I have written extensively about the futuristic plans of the United Nations Agenda 21 to create densely populated megacities.
This article examines the ‘perfect storm’ that is presently occurring which is witnessing the manifestation of Agenda 21 living conditions in America and a vicious martial law occupation force which will be presiding over these megacities.
No speculation is required; the government admits complicity in this plot by their own actions and in their own documents. The title page of this PDF is displayed below.
US ARMY DOCUMENT GUARANTEES MARTIAL LAW WITHIN AN AGENDA 21 NIGHTMARISH SCENARIO The smoking gun document that virtually guarantees an Army enforced martial law way of life, within an Agenda 21 megacities framework:
MEGACITIES AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY PREPARING FOR A COMPLEX AND UNCERTAIN FUTURE June 2014

Chief of Staff of the Army, Strategic Studies GroupMegacities Concept Team:Colonel Marc Harris, Lieutenant Colonel Robert Dixon, Major Nicholas Melin, Command Sergeant Major Daniel Hendrex, Sergeant Major Richard Russoand Mr. Michael Bailey
An Army report boldly proclaims that American troops need to be ready and willing to enter New York City and other global ‘megacities’ in the ‘near future’. The purpose of this instruction by the Army in the nation’s domestic affairs, in violation of Posse Comitatus would be to prevent civil unrest (i.e. ‘precrime’), political uprisings and protect key infrastructure and natural resources in the national interest. In other words, the American Army will be deployed because what the American people ‘MIGHT DO’. The official Army report is entitled ‘Megacities and the United States Army’ (PDF), and it was released by the Chief of Staff of the Army, Strategic Studies Group.
The report disturbingly states that, ‘It is inevitable that at some point the United States Army will be asked to operate in a megacity and currently the Army is ill-prepared to do so.’

OBAMA’S ISIS WAR: PROFIT FOR MILITARY CONTRACTORS

Earlier this week Stars and Stripes, the Pentagon-run newspaper and website, posted an article calling for contractors to fight ISIS and provide other services in Iraq. The U. S. Army Contracting Command posted a notice last month seeking contractors willing to work on an initial 12-month contract, who should be ‘cognizant of the goals of reducing tensions between Arabs and Kurds, and Sunni and Shias.’
According to the Pentagon periodical, merc and contractor duties will ‘fall within the existing mission’ and will ‘focus on administration, force development, procurement and acquisition, contracting, training management, public affairs, logistics, personnel management, professional development, communications, planning and operations, infrastructure management, intelligence and executive development, the notice stated.’
As of February, according to the Wall Street Journal, there were more than 5,000 specialists working in the country.

American Spartans?

There are very few Spartans in the American military forces. In fact, there are few who even know what a ‘Spartan’ is these days. I think Americans today think a Spartan is a very dumb, show-off football player at USC who does back flips for the tv fans.
The real Spartans of the ancient world were like Russia’s Spetznetz forces today, lifers totally committed to fighting for their nation. More than 60,000 Ukrainian troops heavily armed and supplied by the U. S. just panicked and fled as soon as one of their Candy Leaders screamed, ‘The Russians are Coming.’ There’s hardly a real Russian to be seen in the Ukraine and even the Candy King claims there are only 1,000, but his candy-assed ‘soldiers’ panicked at the very thought of Russian Spartans.
The American Spartan Major who wrote the book about his experience in Afghanistan is one of the guys who takes hearts-and-minds seriously, the ancient way. The Russian Soviets did not do that when they went into Afghanistan by invitation of the Marxist government. Once the guerrilla forces, including bin-Laden and the Arabs he recruited with CIA money, got the Stingers, they blew away the Hinds and the Red Army fled home to help the USSR implode. The U. S. annihilated Afghanistan and lost all hearts and minds to start with, both there and in Pakistan. If the guerrillas had Stingers, the U. S. would have been blown away long ago.

Mr. President, The Less You Do Overseas The Better

‘We’ve got to stop ISIS… al-Qaida… Syria’s Assad… Hamas… Hezbollah… Taliban… Shebab…the wicked Ruskis in Ukraine…those Yemeni Houthis… Iran… Sudan… Islamists in Libya and Mali… Boko Haram in Nigeria… the Red Chinese in Asia. Oh yes, and defend Latvia and fight the Lord’s Army in Uganda. That’s the view in Washington where international police fever and growing hysteria over ISIS, the latest Mideast bogeyman, have gripped the nation, as elections near and politicians talk more nonsense than usual. Listen to Republican windbags and you’d believe the hordes of ISIS are about to put Cleveland to the sword.

Ukraine, Separatists Agree On Cease-Fire; EU May Suspend Sanctions

UPDATE: So far no good…*HEAVY ARTILLERY BLASTS HEARD IN UKRAINE’S MARIUPOL: RIA
While we had grown weary of trashed truces and snapped cease-fires in Israel, it appears, according to Interfax, that Ukraine and the pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine (having gained notably over the army in recent days) have agreed a cease-fire:
*UKRAINE, SEPARATISTS AGREE ON CEASE-FIRE FROM 6PM TODAY: IFX *POROSHENKO: PRELIM. PROTOCOL TO CEASE-FIRE SIGNED IN MINSK: BBC Great news, especially for Merkel (and Hollande) who has already come out and noted that the cease-fire means EU could suspend sanctions (saving face and avoiding some further escalation). The question is – how much of Putin’s 7-point-peace-plan will Ukraine acquiesce to? If any?

The Battle For Strategic Mariupol Begins As NATO Vows To Do “Whatever It Takes”

Shelling is reported to have started on the eastern outskirts of Mariupol, Ukraine, according to local reporters on social media. This crucial city, due to its standing as the last major city standing in the way of a land connection to Crimea (from Russia) across the Southern border. Furthermore, Mariupol’s strategic importance as a port and major industrial city is crucial to Kiev who are reinforcing the city after losing Novoazovsk last week, with the Ukrainian army on full alert. NATO has been actively sabre-rattling this morning, pulling a full Draghi by threatening to do “whatever it takes” to defend ourselves and our allies, and offering training and support for Ukraine (as they report over 3,000 Russian troops in Ukraine). Escalation?

Warning to the World: Washington and its NATO & EU Vassals are Insane – Paul Craig Roberts

Herbert E. Meyer, a nutcase who was a special assistant to the CIA director for a period during the Reagan administration, has penned an article calling for Russian President Putin’s assassination. If we have ‘ to get him out of the Kremlin feet-first with a bullet hole in the back of his head, that would be okay with us.’ As the crazed Meyer illiustrates, the insanity that Washington has released upon the world knows no restraint. Jose Manual Barroso, installed as Washington’s puppet as European Commission President, misrepresented his recent confidential telephone conversation with Russia’s President Putin by telling the media that Putin issued a threat: ‘If I want to, I can take Kiev in two weeks.’
Clearly, Putin did not issue a threat. A threat would be inconsistent with Putin’s entire unprovocative approach to the strategic threat that Washington and its NATO puppets have brought to Russia in Ukraine. Russia’s permanent representative to the EU, Vladimir Chizhov, said that if Barroso’s lie stands, Russia will make public the full recording of the conversation
Anyone familiar with the disparity between the Ukrainian and Russian militaries knows full well that it would take the Russian military 14 hours, not 14 days, to take all of Ukraine. Just remember what happened to the American and Israeli trained and equipped Georgian Army when Washington set its stupid Georgian puppets on South Ossetia. The American and Israeli trained and equipped Georgian army collapsed under Russian counterattack in 5 hours.
The lie that Washington’s puppet Barroso told was not worthy of a serious person. But where in Europe is there a serious person in power? Nowhere. The few serious people are all out of power. Consider the NATO Secretary General, Anders Rasmussen. He was a prime minister of Denmark who saw he could rise beyond Denmark by serving as Washington’s puppet. As prime minister he strongly supported Washington’s illegal invasion of Iraq, declaring that ‘we know that Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction.’ Of course, the fool didn’t know any such thing, and why would it matter if Iraq did have such weapons. Many countries have weapons of mass destruction.

U.S. ARMY PLANS TO BATTLE ANTI-GOVERNMENT DISSIDENTS IN ‘MEGACITIES’

The U. S. Army is preparing to fight political dissidents who challenge the power of the state as ‘megacities’ become the battleground of the future, according to a new report in the Army Times.
The article details how the Army’s Capabilities Integration Center (ARCIC) worked with US Army Special Operations Command, the chief of staff’s Strategic Studies Group and the UK’s Ministry of Defence earlier this year to wargame the future of armed combat, which will revolve around the neutralization of groups ‘who can influence the lives of the population while undermining the authority of the state,’ a chillingly vague description which could easily be applied to political dissidents.
The plan foresees an unprecedented realignment of U. S. military strategy focused around putting ‘boots on the ground’ in megacities to deal with ‘politically dispossessed’ populations while relying on ‘more lethal and more autonomous’ methods.
‘It is inevitable that at some point the United States Army will be asked to operate in a megacity and currently the Army is ill-prepared to do so,’ asserted a report by Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno’s Strategic Studies Group, while Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster warned that the Army will increasingly have to expand its presence to battle an enemy which operates in ‘other contested spaces like organized crime and politics.’

U.S. Army Drills To Battle Political Dissent And Fight Crime In ‘Megacities’

This article was written by Eric Blair and originally published at Activist Post
As we’ve witnessed recently in Ferguson, Missouri, the difference between police and military is already nearly indistinguishable. In other words, the Army is already taking on peaceful citizens in domestic cities. Tank-supported SWAT teams already grenade and raid homes to serve warrants for victimless, non-violent offenses. What more can they possibly train for?
The U. S. Army is now officially getting into the crime-fighting business. According to the Army Times, the Army is training to fight battles in megacities, not against other armies, but to help local authorities root out shadowy criminals, extremists and, wait for it, wait for it, influential political dissidents.
The Army Times reports on this year’s Unified Quest war games drill:
“When the Army looks to the future, it sees cities. Dense, sprawling, congested cities where criminal and extremist groups flourish almost undetected by authorities, but who can influence the lives of the population while undermining the authority of the state. And the service is convinced that these ‘megacities’ of 20 million or more people will be the battleground of the future.”

Luhansk effectively falls to Russia

The Ukrainian army has lost the battle for the airport of Luhansk. Ceasefire talks in Ukraine collapsed ending hours after Kiev was compelled to order its army to withdraw from a key eastern airport in Luhansk after coming under a serious assault from separatists fighters reportedly backed by a Russian Panzerbatallion that included an army tank column. Luhansk is the furthest province of Ukraine and it appears that the invasion has begun. It will be spearheaded by the separatists maintain that it is not a direct Russian invasion. The fall of Ukraine is not out of the question. However, this will be the flash-point for all hostilities ahead.

Talk about expanding the role of the armed forces. The Army has been training in urban warfare for decades geared toward fighting insurgents and terrorists (those who commit violence).
That’s why this announcement is so stunning. Look closely at the new definition of enemy:
Criminal and extremist groups…undetected by authorities, but who can influence the lives of the population while undermining the authority of the state.
No mention of the word “violence” and it seems like they’re targeting political dissent.

Libya May Be Focus Of Major Rift Between US And Regional Allies

Submitted by Defense & Foreign Affairs via OilPrice.com,
It had become clear by late August 2014 that Libya could no longer be seen as a unified state; at best it was in two parts, even with the communal leaderships of both sides professing a desire to resume national unity. By late August 2014, the country had two parliaments: one elected by the Libyan people, and the other given legitimacy solely by foreign support.
The situation seemed so intractable by that point that it was possible that a full military intervention by regional states, perhaps spearheaded by Egypt, could be attempted, with the goal of stabilizing the country and eliminating the foreign-funded and foreign-armed jihadis who were using Libya as a springboard for a proposed pro-Islamist war against the current Egyptian Government.
The proxy forces of the 2011 unilateral intervention by Qatar, supporting jihadis and the Muslim Brothers (Ikhwan), and by Turkey and the US, into the Cyrenaican revolt against Mu’ammar al-Qadhafi, were still dominating the Libyan political scene, much to the frustration of Libyan tribal forces.
Qatar was creating a ‘Free Egyptian Army’ in the Cyrenaica desert, and patterned on the ‘Free Syrian Army’ which Qatar, Turkey, and the US had built to challenge Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad.
Significantly, while the US and European Union (EU) continued in August 2014 to promote the concept of a unified Libya, they were basing their approach around what was essentially a modification of the mode of governance practiced by Mu’ammar al-Qadhafi, who seized power by a coup in 1969, and held it until 2011. Widespread Libyan calls for a return to the 1951 Constitution – drafted by the United Nations and the 140 or so Libyan tribes – have been consistently ignored by Washington and Brussels.
By August 2014, the foreign jihadist fighters – mainly linked to salafist groups and either directly or indirectly working with the Muslim Brothers (Ikhwan) – were still entrenched in Cyrenaica, in Eastern Libya (where the local moderate. anti-salafist Senussiyah sect of Islam predominates), supported by Qatar, Turkey, and the US Government. As well, they were entrenched around Tripoli.

Has Hillary Ever Been Right?

en. Rand Paul raises an interesting question:
When has Hillary Clinton ever been right on foreign policy?
The valkyrie of the Democratic Party says she urged President Obama to do more to aid Syrian rebels years ago. And last summer, she supported air strikes on Bashar Assad’s regime.
Had we followed her advice and crippled Assad’s army, ISIS might be in Damascus today, butchering Christians and Alawites and aiding the Islamic State in Iraq in overrunning Baghdad.
But if the folly of attacking Assad’s army and weakening its resistance to ISIS terrorists is apparent to everyone this summer, why were Clinton, Obama and Secretary of State Kerry oblivious to this reality just a year ago?
Consider the rest of Hillary’s record. Her most crucial decision as Senator came in 2002 when she voted to invade Iraq. She now concedes it was the greatest mistake of her Senate career.

The Regulatory Attack on US Business Is Not the Real Problem

The criminalisation of American business … Corporate settlements in the United States The criminalisation of American business Companies must be punished when they do wrong, but the legal system has become an extortion racket … Who runs the world’s most lucrative shakedown operation? The Sicilian mafia? The People’s Liberation Army in China? The kleptocracy in the Kremlin? If you are a big business, all these are less grasping than America’s regulatory system. The formula is simple: find a large company that may (or may not) have done something wrong; threaten its managers with commercial ruin, preferably with criminal charges; force them to use their shareholders’ money to pay an enormous fine to drop the charges in a secret settlement (so nobody can check the details). Then repeat with another large company. The amounts are mind-boggling. – Economist magazine
Dominant Social Theme: Let these multinationals breathe. Give them air and freedom and keep the lawyers away from them.
Free-Market Analysis: The Economist magazine has decided a major problem with the US economy is that its largest multinational corporations and banks are being held for ransom by avaricious lawyers.

Washington Piles Lie Upon Lie – Paul Craig Roberts

The latest Washington lie, this one coming from NATO, is that Russia has invaded Ukraine with 1,000 troops and self-propelled artillery.
How do we know that this is a lie? Is it because we have heard nothing but lies about Russia from NATO, from US ambassador to the UN Samantha Power, from assistant secretary of state Victoria Nuland, from Obama and his entire regime of pathological liars, and from the British, German, and French governments along with the BBC and the entirety of the Western media?
This, of course, is a good reason for knowing that the latest Western propaganda is a lie. Those who are pathological liars don’t suddenly start telling the truth.
But there are even better reasons for understanding that Russia has not invaded Ukraine with 1,000 troops.
One reason is that Putin has invested heavily in diplomacy backed by unprovocative behavior. He would not risk his bet on diplomacy by sending in troops too few in number to have a decisive effect on the outcome.
Another reason is that if Putin decides he has no alternative to sending the Russian military to protect the Russian residents in eastern and southern Ukraine, Putin will send in enough troops to do the job quickly as he did in Georgia when the American and Israeli trained Georgian army invaded South Ossetia and was destroyed in a few hours by the Russian response. If you hear that 100,000 Russian troops accompanied by air cover have invaded Ukraine, it would be a more believable claim.

Ukraine Accuses Russia Of Launching Invasion, Then Promptly Retracts

It has been a busy morning: following a substantial surge in Ukraine separatist activity in the past 24 hours, which saw them capture the strategic Sea of Azov port town of Novoazovsk, a move which the NYT classified as “Ukraine Reports Russian Invasion on a New Front“, Ukraine has turned on the disinformation spigot to max resulting in a constant verbal, and headline, diarrhea as follows:
POROSHENKO CONVENES SECURITY COUNCIL ON RUSSIAN `INVASION’ POROSHENKO: SITUATION IN UKRAINE’S EAST DETERIORATED SHARPLY UKRAINE EU AMBASSADOR CALLS FOR JOINT EFFORT TO `STOP THIS WAR’ POROSHENKO SAYS SECURITY COUNCIL WILL DRAW UP FURTHER PLANS RUSSIAN ARMY CONTROLS NOVOAZOVSK: UKRAINE SECURITY COUNCIL YATSENYUK URGES UN SECURITY COUNCIL TO DEBATE UKRAINE SITUATION So sure was Ukraine that this time (unlike all those previous disinformation launches) Russia has invaded that Anton Herashchenko, adviser to Ukrainian Interior Ministry, actually commented on his Facebook page saying “Invasion of regular Russian army of Putin to Ukraine is an accomplished fact,’ Adding that Putin “de-facto places Ukraine on a war-footing at a time when a decree was signed to dissolve parliament.”
Well, yes, Ukraine has no government, but Russia of course denied all of it:
