Hypocrisy may be the only consistent guiding principle of US foreign policy.
Here’s a prime example of the “do as we say, not as we do” that is the core of how Washington does business overseas: In the same week that the the US Justice Department demanded that the Russian-backed RT America network register as a foreign propaganda entity or face arrest, the US State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DNL) has announced that it is launching a program to massively interfere in NATO-partner Hungary’s internal media.
So the US Justice Department is cracking down on RT America for what it says is manipulation of US domestic affairs while the US State Department announces a new program to manipulate Hungary’s domestic affairs.
The State Department’s new program would send three-quarters of a million dollars to Washington-selected Hungarian media outlets to “increase citizens’ access to objective information about domestic and global issues in Hungary.” On what authority does the United States pick winners and losers in Hungary’s diverse media environment? Since when does one government have the right to determine what news is “objective” in another country? Hungary is not a country to be “regime-changed” — it is a full democracy where the will of the people is regularly expressed at the ballot box and where the media competes freely in the marketplace of ideas.

There is a positive and negative version of the ‘total manipulation’ paradigm.
On the negative side, secret societies and giant corporations and bankers dominate world events to such a degree, resistance is futile. Nothing can be done.
And since nothing can be done, individual freedom is useless.
On the positive side (if you can call it that), the universe, or superior space aliens, or some other Entity is working out a plan that is destined to succeed and usher in an era of joy and glory – in which case, one only need wait until the moment arrives.
In this case as well, individual freedom is beside the point.
In both versions of this paradigm, passivity is the actual outcome.
A person operating under its banner is advocating a massive excuse for his own inaction. That’s what he’s after. That’s his Holy Grail. Arriving at a vacuum and rationalizing it.
I have seen this play out on many fronts.
The wisdom of waiting. The wisdom of spectatorship. The wisdom of having ‘superior intelligence.’ The wisdom of ‘submitting to a greater force.’ The wisdom of surrender.

Rule by technocracy – that is the subject of this article. In such a future, there would be no politicians. They would have been made extinct…
Huxley’s 1932 novel about a World State and its version of Utopia is still one of the most important and relevant novels of our time.
It is the companion piece to Orwell’s 1984. The overt brutal force has been removed from the equation in Brave New World. Instead: all births are synthetic, hatched in artificial womb factories, with accompanying genetic manipulation; no more nuclear families; no more monogamy; education is achieved through hypnotic sleep-learning; a caste system is engineered so the lower, less intelligent classes are happy with their lot, and the upper-level ‘alphas’ occupy the top positions; the castes have little interest in associating with each other.
Technocracy has triumphed.
The theme of life, the basic theme, is Pleasure. Pleasures of the senses. Not of the mind, not of constructive action, certainly not of imagination. Pleasure keeps the citizens of the World State occupied…and if that fails, the ultimate backup is a drug called Soma, which relieves anxiety and depression and stimulates ‘happiness.’

It has been nearly three weeks since an explosive article revolving around a memo from the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity has been out. The media and powerful political elitists are silent about this particular memo though, because it details all of the evidence that the DNC leaks last year could not possibly have been the result of a Russian hacking.
The Nation’s article laid out, in detail, the specifics and evidence which has now blown up in the face of propagandists (media talking heads) across the country. Proving to be nothing more than lie-for-profit brainwashing tools of the state, political pundits are covering their tracks with silence. All of this brainwashing (without a single shred of evidence to support it) was accomplished via the indefensibly corrupt manipulations of language repeated incessantly in our leading media.

Today’s post should be read as Part 3 of my ongoing series about the now infamous Google memo, and what it tells us about where our society is headed if a minority of extremely wealthy and powerful technocratic billionaires are permitted to fully socially engineer our culture to fit their ideological vision using coercion, force and manipulation. For some context, read Part 1 and Part 2.
I struggled with the title of this piece, because ever since the 2016 election, usage of the term ‘deep state’ has become overly associated with Trump cheerleaders. I’m not referring to people who voted for Trump, whom I can both understand and respect, I’m talking about the Trump cultists. Like most people who mindlessly and enthusiastically attach themselves to political figures, they tend to be either morons or opportunists.
Nevertheless, just because the term has been somewhat tainted doesn’t mean I deny the existence of a ‘deep state’ or ‘shadow government.’ The existence of networks of unelected powerful people who formulate and push policy behind the scenes and then get captured members of Congress to vote on it is pretty much undeniable. I don’t believe that the ‘deep state’ is a monolithic entity by any means, but what seems to unite these various people and institutions is an almost religious belief in U. S. imperial dominance, as well as the idea that this empire should be largely governed by an unaccountable oligarchy of billionaires and assorted technocrats. We see the results of this worldview all around us with endless wars, an unconstitutional domestic surveillance state and the destruction of the middle class. These are the fruits of deep state ideology, and a clear reason why it should be dismantled and replaced by genuine governance by the people before they lead the U. S. to total disaster.

In my collection, The Matrix Revealed, I include interviews with retired propaganda master, Ellis Medavoy, and another set of interviews with brilliant hypnotherapist Jack True.
The total of these 71 text interviews is 610 pages.
Jack and Ellis provide startling insights into how space and time are manipulated in the Matrix, in order to produce mind-control effects that go deeper than deep.
At the same time, understanding how time and space are engineered leads to breakthroughs and revelations about how the individual can liberate himself from this labyrinth.
In that sense, The Matrix Revealed is really about consciousness and its operations – in a shacked and limited condition, and freed from limitations.
Everything I’ve written as a reporter for the past 34 years feeds into this exploration and discovery.
Eventually, all roads lead to mind control and mind freedom.
As a reporter, I’ve always kept my eye on the goal: liberation of individual power.
Space and time are elastic. The illusion that they must be accepted as they appear to be creates a self-defeating structure. That structure can be cracked and nullified.

When an investment asset has potential to deliver returns for 100 years, the competition to be the sole owner can be intense. Such is the case with mining rights to the Simandou iron ore deposit in the West African nation of Guinea, where George Soros is involved in one of several lawsuits over the past few years. The dispute is aggressive, with Soros being called out as anti-Israeli in the suit, which dredges up well-worn charges the former hedge fund managers engages in a global conspiracy to manipulate numerous governments. The feud with Israeli mining magnate Beny Steinmetz dates back to 1998 and involves charges of manipulation and bribery.
BSGR Lawsuits fight against a ‘racketeer billionaire’ who ‘puppeteered’ government
The cost to develop Simandou is estimated at $20 billion, according to a Bloomberg report, and is estimated to have enough iron ore to deliver returns through the next generation and beyond. The fight brought by BSG Resources Ltd. (BSGR) involves some of the most successful billionaires and mining companies in the world.
BSGR filed suit against Soros and his Open Society Foundations in court Friday, opening the document by claiming Soros is a ‘racketeer billionaire’ who ‘acts in utter disregard for the rule of law’ while he ‘epitomizes’ the well-worn phrase ‘power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely.’

Turkey’s April 16 popular referendum amending the constitution to establish an executive presidency passed 51.41% to 48.59%. The results were virtually identical to the estimates of Turkey’s two leading polling firms, Gezici and Konda.
Yet several dynamics suggest the referendum will be anything but the climactic showdown that would have given Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan a clear mandate to unify a deeply divided Turkey and prepare the country for his executive presidency. (The amendments do not come into effect until 2019.)
The major problem was that hours before polling stations closed, the Supreme Election Board (YSK), Turkey’s highest electoral authority composed of high court judges, reached a controversial decision. The YSK said that it will count unstamped ballots ‘unless there is … proof that ballots and envelopes are brought from outside.’ The YSK’s seal on ballots and envelopes marks the voting accoutrement as genuine. In past elections, votes would be invalidated if they lacked the proper YSK stamp.
The YSK’s decision stood in contrast with Turkey’s electoral laws and political traditions, inviting a furious backlash from the ‘no’ camp. According to Hurriyet Daily News, Bulent Tezcan, the deputy chairman of the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP), said, ‘The YSK is paving the way for us to enter an unfortunate period that accepts the principle of elections under judicial manipulation rather than elections under judicial supervision. The decision that the YSK made after the voting began will bring the reliability of the elections into question. The elections will face a serious legitimacy problem. The YSK changed the rules after voting began.’

Trade will be at the forefront of many leaders’ minds this quarter as a new US administration settles into the White House. Though US President Donald Trump continues to be bogged down by congressional battles and allegations of inappropriate ties to Russia, his team will try to draw the public’s attention back to its trade agenda. To that end, Washington will work to clarify its strategy for cracking down on currency manipulation abroad, tightening the enforcement of existing trade laws and preparing to renegotiate NAFTA. But the uncertainty surrounding the White House’s intentions will linger, prompting the United States’ biggest trade partners to look for new economic relationships elsewhere.
At the same time, some will leverage security cooperation and promises of investment to get on Washington’s good side – or, at the very least, to try to fend off its punitive trade measures. China will be one of them as it uses its economic heft with Pyongyang, and the growing sense of urgency surrounding North Korea’s nuclear program, to its advantage in tense trade talks with the United States. The White House will do what it can to push for secondary sanctions against China’s stubborn neighbor, perhaps even threatening to step up its military aid to Taiwan to compel Beijing’s buy-in. But even if Washington has its way, a heavier sanctions regime will do little to slow the progress of Pyongyang’s nuclear program. The United States will have no choice, then, but to build a credible military deterrent against North Korea – a move that will only widen the rift between Washington and Beijing.

#DarkMatter A breakdown of the three components used in #NightSkies – CIA tool installed on new iPhones to allow monitoring & manipulation pic.twitter.com/2Q8E9PtWr8
— Christine Maguire (@_ChrisMaguire) March 23, 2017
It’s known as DarkSeaSkies…. Hacking tools that allows the CIA access to Apple products. One knicknamed the ‘Sonic Screwdriver’ gives an agent the ability to hack and remotely control a MacBook Air in less than half a minute.
Delivered via ‘supply chain intercept or gift to the target,’ DarkSeaSkies runs in the background and gives the CIA remote control of the laptop. The 2009 ‘user requirements’ make it sound like this one requires a thumb drive: ‘It is assumed that an operator or asset has one-time physical access to the target system and can boot the target system to an external flash drive.’
Well, at least they required physical proximity to your laptop for at least 29 seconds eight years ago.

What newspapers are doing between the Print and Online Versions is beginning to really question their integrity and reveals why mainstream media is just not trustworthy any more. The New York Times changed what they reported in the ‘print’ edition that clearly stated ‘wiretapped data’ monitoring Trump’s people before the election in Watergate Style probably after realizing what they said might hurt Obama. Why is there such a stark difference between online and the print edition? Obviously, this is not a mistake. It appears to be a deliberate alteration of reporting.
This strange difference between online and print editions of stories seems to be a pattern that is emerging more and more. Mainstream Media is really getting involved in some shady covert manipulation of the pretend news or modern version of propaganda. They are not as smart as they think.

The White House has been pretty mum on the Wikileaks’ Vault 7 release and the idea that the CIA can exploit all of our internet-connected devices to turn them into covert surveillance tools inside our own homes. The CIA refuses to comment on the authenticity of the Wikileaks documents either, but they definitely aren’t denying any of it.
In a statement on the new revelations, former rep. Dennis Kucinich declared that we are ‘sliding down the slippery slope toward totalitarianism, where private lives do not exist’.
He wrote in part:
If Tuesday’s WikiLeaks document dump is authentic, as it appears to be, then the agency left open electronic gateways that make all Americans vulnerable to spying, eavesdropping and technological manipulation that could bring genuine harm.
That the CIA has reached into the lives of all Americans through its wholesale gathering of the nation’s ‘haystack’ of information has already been reported.

Regime change policy in Syria is not a new concept, it is, in fact, a repeat cycle, standard foreign policy for the US administration and its partners in the UK, particularly where oil interests are concerned. The following article on Washington Blog gives a brief summary of previous assassination attempts and covert operations conducted inside Syria by the US deep state players and their Congress talking heads. It is a history of manipulation, puppet regimes and violation of International law that has never ended, leading to the 2011 dirty war on Syria that is still raging in 2017.
The U. S. Carried Out Regime Change In Syria In 1949 … and Tried Again In 1957, 1986, 1991 and 2011-Today
‘The CIA backed a right-wing coup in Syria in 1949. Douglas Little, Professor, Department of Clark University History professor Douglas Little notes:
‘Recently declassified records… confirm that beginning on November 30, 1948, [CIA operative Stephen] Meade met secretly with Colonel Zaim at least six times to discuss the ‘possibility [of an] army supported dictatorship.’ [‘Cold War and Covert Action: The United States and Syria, 1945-1958,’ Middle East Journal, Winter 1990, p. 55]

It is getting difficult to keep track of all the parallel (alleged) financial scandals involving French presidential candidates.
Several weeks after presidential candidate Francois Fillon’s campaign nearly ended over a sprawling graft scandal involving allegations he used public funds to pay the wages of his wife and children, on Wednesday, French police detained two of Marine Le Pen’s closest aides: her bodyguard and chief of staff, for questioning over alleged misuse of European Union funds to pay parliamentary assistants, Le Pen’s lawyer said.
Le Pen slammed the latest move in what Reuters dubbed “a financial sleaze case” that has landed her in the spotlight alongside another leading candidate, Francois Fillon, a right-winger being investigated over public funds he paid to his wife and children. Wary that her image and lead position in polls of voting intentions could be hurt, Le Pen said she was convinced voters would not fall for what her lawyer Marcel Ceccaldi called a “manipulation” designed to destabilize her.

Media junkies on the tragic path to extinction believe the junk news, non-junkies see through the manipulation.
The mainstream media continues peddling its “fake news” narrative like a desperate pusher whose junkies are dying from his toxic dope. It’s slowly dawning on the media-consuming public that the MSM is the primary purveyor of “fake news”– self-referential narratives that support a blatantly slanted agenda with unsupported accusations and suitably anonymous sources. Many of these Fake News Narratives are laughably, painfully bogus: that President Trump is a Russian tool, to take a current example. (That President Obama was a tool of the neocon Deep State–no mention of that. According to the MSM, America doesn’t even have a Deep State–har-har…the joke’s on you if you are credulous enough to swallow this risible absurdity.) But the real danger isn’t fake news–it’s junk news. Junk News (the title of a 2009 book by an Emmy Award – winning journalist– Junk News: The Failure of the Media in the 21st Century) —is related to Junk Science and Junk Food. Junk science is presented as “science” but cherry-picks data to support a specific but unstated agenda–an agenda that requires downplaying or overlooking conflicting data.

I’ll get to the devious word-manipulation in a minute, but first a bit of background.
Corporate Globalists are now gathering their forces to destroy Trump’s economic plan.
Their goal: stop Trump from laying tariffs on goods exported to America.
Trump has announced a simple and straightforward idea. If US companies shut down factories here and set them up in Third World hell holes, with slave labor and no environmental rules, and then export those goods back to the US, they’ll have to pay a stiff tariff.
That tariff will cut them off at the knees. They won’t be able to sell their products so cheaply here. In fact, they’d be better off re-opening their factories in the US and re-employing all those workers they threw out of jobs when they left the US.
Trump’s other obvious idea: countries where the labor is cheap have their own native companies, of course, who are producing goods and exporting them to the US – undercutting American companies who make the same products. Those foreign companies would also have to pay a stiff tariff, putting them on an equal footing with US manufacturers.

Vladimir Putin weighs in on the topic of fake news recently, but not in the way one might expect. There may be something to be said for what is left unspoken and the power of appreciative analysis.
Putin sent a letter of congratulations to one of the oldest periodicals in Europe, La Stampa in Italy, on its 150th anniversary. He noted in his letter that they were exemplary on a continent ‘known for such values as freedom of expression, objectivity, impartiality and the readiness to allow any viewpoint to find its way to the reader.’
The Duran reports below on Putin’s move and the subtext for the mainstream media between the lines…
Russian President sends message to La Stampa which draws attention to the extent to which the European media has betrayed its former traditions of ‘freedom of expression, objectivity, impartiality and the readiness to allow any viewpoint to find its way to the reader’, accusing it of ‘news manipulation’ on behalf of ‘entrenched interests’.

‘We are not equal,’ Arthur Brock, a self-described ‘culture hacker,’ writes in his article, Broken Assumptions of Governance.
‘We have differences’ – different interests, attention spans, beliefs, expectations, strengths, weaknesses, skills, habits, languages, etc. The real goal is to be treated equitably and fairly, not as identical interchangeable units.
‘In an era of massive customization’ – -of media, products, art, and experiences’ – why,’ Brock asks, ‘should we be stuck with one-size-fits-all governance?’
The goal of proper governance shouldn’t, contrary to popular thought, be simply ‘one person, one vote.’
To try to equalize the power of each voter’s vote through the concentration of power only opens the entire system as a whole up for manipulation by the few. And, ultimately, no matter how hard the plebs vote for those ‘lesser of the evils,’ they’ll inevitably end up with candidates like Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton as their ‘hopefuls.’
