Did Marco Rubio Just Say It’s OK To Beat People For Their Thoughts?

Authored by Shane Kastler via “The Narrow Road” blog,
In a truly ‘free’ society, no one gets beaten up for their political views. Laws cannot be passed against thoughts or symbols. And mob violence is not allowed to rule the day. But Florida Senator Marco Rubio, like most establishment political hacks, is not interested in a free society. He’s interested in seizing power in any way possible. And if that means excusing and encouraging mob violence, to achieve his political ends, then so be it. While Rubio may rail against dictators, his statements sound eerily like the late Fidel Castro, and other tyrants like him.
Rubio’s statement came in the form of a series of tweets he posted in response to the Charlottesville circus. Here are his exact words:
‘When entire movement built on anger & hatred towards people different than you, it justifies & ultimately leads to violence against them.’ While the trained seals who follow hucksters like Rubio will bark their approval for his ‘brave words’; those who love liberty will shudder at the true ramifications of what he is saying. But let’s begin by trying to parse who exactly he is saying it about.

Five Things You Need to Know About CrowdStrike

The Daily Caller
The Democratic Party and mainstream media have become increasingly consumed with the narrative that Donald Trump’s election win is largely influenced by Russian hacking.
The narrative is centered around two hacks – the hack of a DNC server that led to the release of embarrassing emails during the Democratic National Convention, and the hack of John Podesta’s email which led to several embarrassing moments for the Clinton campaign in October 2016. Both are supposedly the result of the Russians.
The Russia story is back in the headlines once again after reports surrounding former President Barack Obama’s attempts to ‘punish’ Russia for its interference.
However, there is still a cloud of doubt hanging over the DNC’s Russia narrative on the breach of the DNC servers.
The analysis that alleged that Russia was behind the DNC server breach was carried out not by the U. S. government, but by the private security group CrowdStrike.
CrowdStrike is the sole source of this claim, with their June 2016 report, ‘Bears in the Midst: Intrusion into the Democratic National Committee’ being the basis of the DNC’s Russian hacking allegations.

Barcelona Terrorist Attack – Is Europe Lost?

Barcelona, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, was the target of the Islamic State in their latest terrorist attack to kill people on a wholesale basis. Spain has now mounted an all out sweeping anti-terror operation after an Islamist militant drove a van into crowds in Barcelona, killing 13 people and possibly injuring 100 before fleeing, in what police suspect was one of multiple planned attacks.
Islamic State claimed responsibility for the deadly attack along the city’s most famous avenue on Thursday, which was packed with tourists taking an afternoon stroll. Police said they had arrested two men, a Moroccan and a man from Spain’s north African enclave of Melilla.

43 CalExit 3.0: New Petition Calls For Cali Secession…3rd Time’s A Charm?

A new group of CalExit activists are hoping they can secede (see what we did there?) where two predecessor groups failed in efforts to force California’s independence from the United States of America. Ironically, you would think that removing California from the union would be something that Republicans and Democrats could actually agree on…so we remained perplexed as to why this process is proving so difficult.
So, what’s their plan? Well, rather than pursue a ballot measure, which requires 585,407 signatures, the CalExit 3.0 group has petitioned California’s Attorney General to call for a Constitutional Convention of the States so they can, among other things, amend the U. S. Constitution to allow for a “clear and reasonable path for individual States to become independent, so that CA can secede, if they so choose.”
But, secession isn’t all they’re after…the CalExit 3.0 group enumerated a litany of Leftist grievances which they would like to address with constitutional amendments…here’s just a couple of our favorites (spelling mistakes below are not ours):

1. Given that “California is – and must always be – a refuge of justice and opportunity for people of all ages, backgrounds and aspirations – regardless of how you look, where you live, what language you speak, or who you love;” 2. Given that the world has changed dramatically since 1787, and over the next Century California will continue to invent the future, be it in Entertainment, IT, Medical discoveries, Environmental Protection, Global Climate Disaster Mitigation, or Civil Rights & Liberties;
3. Given that a Californian’s vote has one seventieth the weight of a citizen of Wyoming in the US Senate and has become functionally irrelevant in presidential elections;
5. Given that the US federal govermnent has seen increasing gridlock and citizens across the country feel poorly represented by the federal government;

Stay in the Fight

Dear Black Bag Confidential Reader,
This edition of the Weekly Drop covers a wide variety of questions. In it, you’ll discover:
The best multitool for people on a limited budget Whether plants are a sufficient deterrent to home invasions Alternative home defense weapons if you’ve been stripped of your right to bear arms And how to mentally prepare yourself for a life-or-death situation. Let’s get started.
But first – remember to send your spy and survival inquiries to SPYfeedback@LFB.org.
You’ve got me, former Navy SEAL sniper Cade Courtley and special operations physician Omar Hamada at your disposal. We’re here to help you, so don’t pass up the opportunity to get your questions answered by the experts.
Many years ago, I lived in an area where I was physically attacked on a number of occasions. I took a few beatings, but ultimately walked or staggered away and lived to tell about it… However, my question is: When being attacked, I never assumed that I would lose my life in the process. Being older now, I think this is foolhardy, but is there a way to mentally condition yourself to be prepared to fight like your life depends on it from the beginning?

Damascus International Fair ‘Signifies Victory for Syria Against US Imperialism’

Syria Times
The return of Damascus International Fair and the notable international turn out for the fair has a great meaning as it is a message declaring the end of war in Syria, the defeat of terrorism and the beginning of reconstruction, Dr. Bouthaina Shaaban, the Presidential Political and Media Advisor has underscored.
In an interview with ‘al-Mayadeen TV’ at the Fair ground On Thursday, Shaaban said that Damascus International Fair and the Book Fair stress that a turning point was achieved. She said that she was optimistic that the determination, which the Syrians enjoy, will lead to a great political, economic development project of which generations will be proud.
Regarding the Lebanese ministers’ visit to Syria and their participation in the fair, Shaaban said that mutual visits must be a normal thing between the Syrians and the Lebanese, because the two countries are linked to each other by history, geography and common interests, stressing that it is normal to have strong and warm relations.
Commenting on remarks by UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura that September will witness turning points in the crisis in Syria, Shaaban said the turning point has already been achieved and was imposed by the gains of the Syrian Arab army and its allies since the liberation of Aleppo from terrorism. She pointed out that the political results that may be achieved within the coming two months can be represented in reconsidering the stances of some countries after Syria has kept steadfast and the Syrian army has defeated terrorism.

Pat Buchanan Asks “In This Second American Civil War – Whose Side Are You On?”

Authored by Patrick Buchanan via Townhall.com,
“They had found a leader, Robert E. Lee — and what a leader! … No military leader since Napoleon has aroused such enthusiastic devotion among troops as did Lee when he reviewed them on his horse Traveller.” So wrote Samuel Eliot Morison in his magisterial “The Oxford History of the American People” in 1965.
First in his class at West Point, hero of the Mexican War, Lee was the man to whom President Lincoln turned to lead his army. But when Virginia seceded, Lee would not lift up his sword against his own people, and chose to defend his home state rather than wage war upon her.
This veneration of Lee, wrote Richard Weaver, “appears in the saying attributed to a Confederate soldier, ‘The rest of us may have … descended from monkeys, but it took a God to make Marse Robert.’” Growing up after World War II, this was accepted history.
