DHS WANTS TO BAN THE WORDS ‘JIHAD’ AND ‘SHARIA’

Following the Orlando nightclub shooting, Donald Trump dared President Obama to call the attack an act of radical Islamic terrorism. To the surprise of no one, the president never uttered the words ‘Islamic’ or ‘radical,’ and instead referred to it as ‘an act of terror and an act of hate.’Which has to make you wonder, will Obama’s politically correct rhetoric trickle down throughout the rest of the federal government?
It certainly has in the Department of Homeland Security. The DHS recently issued a report suggesting that the terms ‘sharia’ and ‘jihad’ should be avoided. Specifically, the words should be stricken from ‘Countering Violent Extremism’ programs (which itself is a politically correct term) in an effort to eliminate an ‘us vs them’ mentality. These CVE programs are aimed at protecting ‘our nation’s young people from extremists who prey upon the Millennial generation.’ Other words that will be avoided include ‘takfir’ and ‘umma.’
