What Bombs? Obama’s ‘Arab Coalition’ Were Only Cheerleaders in Syria Airstrike

Much was made by U. S. President Barack Obama on Tuesday about his his ‘Arab Coalition’ as the US announced it had hit Islamic State (IS, ISIL) terrorist targets inside Syria overnight. Washington claims that it’s Arab partners had finally answered the call to ‘take the fight to terrorists’, the only problem was – they didn’t.
We are told that Obama’s bombing partners for the operation comprised of regional monarchies and dictatorships, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Jordan and Bahrain. But what role did they really play in the attacks?
Pentagon Press Secretary Rear Admiral Jim Kirby seemed very cagey about the issue and in the end was reluctant to release any information regarding specifics about what Washington’s ‘Arab partners’ actually did during the raid on supposed ISIS/ISIL targets Syria. We are told that Arab allies, ‘took part’, ‘participated in’, and ‘joined in’, absolutely no specifics.
Obama’s camp was running cover too, as White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest stated, ‘Given that these operations are ongoing, we are not in a position to provide additional details at this time’. Nothing to see here – move along…
