As summer approaches, the efforts to contain Ukraine Crisis seem to be increasing. However, The War Party is also increasing its effort to spark a wider conflict. News coverage of this situation may be confined to the back pages of most MSM outlets but that definitely does NOT mean that you should stop paying attention to this very dangerous situation.

Though the Sochi meetings of Putin, Lavrov and Kerry brought hopes of peace and cooperation, ongoing events continue to unwind any progress that was made. There was a meeting in Riga, Latvia last week where not only was Ukraine not invited to take steps to join the EU, it also made zero progress in finding additional funding for its overwhelming debt burden. Remember, Ukraine is bankrupt and its economy is in shambles. Theoretical scenarios for the crisis laid out in a recent study produced by the US Army War College.
